Formulation and differentiation of scientific results as deliverables in health sector projects
Keywords:
evaluation of results, research projects, research resultsAbstract
Introduction: The formulation of scientific results in health sector projects is essential to ensure methodological consistency and the social utility of the knowledge generated. However, conceptual and operational ambiguities persist in the differentiation between results, products, and deliverables, which limits the impact of research.
Objective: Critically analyse the shortcomings in the structuring of scientific results in health sector projects in Ciego de Ávila, with the aim of contributing to their proper formulation and integration as deliverables.
Development: The authors argue that limited understanding of these categories compromises the quality of projects and their capacity for transformation. It is proposed to conceive scientific results as the articulating axis of the research process, clearly distinguishing them from products and deliverables, and linking them operationally to objectives, indicators, and impacts. This position is based on the documentary analysis carried out and on updated conceptual references.
Conclusions: It is recommended that the methodological culture of research teams be strengthened through training activities that ensure the correct formulation of results. A coherent structure between objectives, results and deliverables will enhance the effectiveness of research and its value for public health.
