As part of the academic collaboration between Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins and the Revista Cubana de Medicina Militar (Cuban Journal of Military Medicine), this thematic issue, titled "Teaching in Health" is published. This editorial article introduces the contents of the issue, detailing its objectives, scope, and integration into the "teaching endeavor". "The issue brings together twenty contributions on the subject of teaching in health, including research articles, reviews, brief communications, case presentations, and opinion articles. While the majority of the work comes from academics at Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins, authors from other Chilean and European institutions have also contributed. These contributions do not share a single, unified doctrinal stance; rather, they are united by their focus: what is taught, how it is assessed, the conditions under which students learn, and the demands placed on education by the healthcare system." We hope that this experience proves enriching for researchers as they navigate the current challenges of health research, particularly with regard to its educational dimensions.
